Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to shape the technical direction of a product area on an AWS-hosted platform, staying hands-on while guiding engineers and architecture decisions. You’ll work directly with users to turn goals into working software.

Qualifications

8+ years of backend development with Node.js and TypeScript.
Proven experience designing event-driven microservices in production.
Strong knowledge of AWS-hosted platforms.
Track record shipping and operating software in production.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
Ability to work directly with end users.
Advanced English level.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end product capability, from design to operation.
Translate product goals into working software.
Define the architecture of event-driven services on AWS.
Partner with end users to shape requirements.
Apply AI-assisted development throughout the delivery cycle.
Mentor engineers and guide technical decisions across teams.
