AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Pricing Analyst to perform pricing and market analysis for ocean and air quotes, aiming to optimize profit and meet growth objectives. You'll assist with RFQs, tenders, bids, and market updates, while coaching international operations on air offerings as needed.

You will work closely with the product teams to develop competitive solutions, negotiate rates, and provide regular performance reports to leadership in a dynamic, global environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of pricing analytics experience in freight forwarders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; CargoWise knowledge a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Act as liaison with internal customers to resolve ocean/air shipment issues.
• Provide clear communication between AIT, IC, carriers and foreign offices.
• Enter quotes into Cargo Wise.
• Collaborate with air and ocean product leads to design competitive solutions.
• Negotiate spot or contract rates with airlines and steamship lines.
• Design and rollout air trade lane programs for overseas agents/offices.
• Provide regular performance reports to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned; comply with policies and standards.

Overview

The Pricing Analyst will perform pricing and market analysis for AIT's ocean and air quotes products in order to optimize profit and meet marketing financial and growth objectives. This role will assist with RFQs, Tenders, BIDS and market updates, along with coaching international operations on all air offerings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison with the internal customer in solving problems related to ocean / air shipments and service
• Provide clear communication link between AIT, IC and ocean / air carriers and foreign offices
• Prepare and put all quotes into Cargo Wise
• Work in conjunction with the air and ocean product lead to provide most competitive solution design for the client
• Work with airlines and steamship lines to negotiate and get spot rates and or establish contract rates for specific origin and destination pairs
• Design and rollout effective air trade lane programs for overseas agents / offices as well as building relationships with our internal offices and sales departments
• Provide regular performance reports to management team
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree (Required)

Experience

• 3+ years Experience in Pricing Analytics in Freight forwarders (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Computer Skills (basic, knowledgeable, advanced): Needs to be knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint High.
• Cargo Wise Knowledge is a plus.
