Stefanini LATAM seeks a Senior Power BI Administrator to own day-to-day operation, governance, and performance of the Power BI service for our client’s analytics platform.

The role focuses on infrastructure, security, and capacity management rather than report creation, ensuring a reliable and compliant environment for all Power BI users across the organization.

Formación

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience administering Power BI Service in an enterprise setting.
• Proven track record managing user access, security models, and licensing within Power BI.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) for global stakeholder communication.

Responsabilidades

• Administer the Power BI Service and related admin portals to ensure reliability.
• Configure gateways, permissions, roles, and access controls across workspaces and datasets.
• Oversee capacity planning, storage, and performance health of the Power BI environment.
• Support governance policies, licensing allocations, and security reviews.
• Collaborate with data engineers and security teams to align platform settings with standards.
• Provide troubleshooting guidance for Power BI service issues raised by users.

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Administrator to own the day‑to‑day operation, governance, and performance of the Power BI service for our client’s growing analytics platform . The role is focused on infrastructure , security , and capacity management rather than report creation, ensuring a reliable and compliant environment for all Power BI users.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and manage the Power BI Service (online tenant) and associated admin portals. Configure, monitor, and maintain Power BI Gateways to ensure reliable on‑premises data connectivity. Define and enforce user permissions, roles, and access controls across workspaces and datasets. Oversee capacity planning, storage utilization, and performance health of the Power BI environment. Manage tenant‑wide settings, governance policies, and licensing allocations. Support audit, compliance, and security reviews specific to the Power BI platform. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and security teams to align platform settings with organizational standards. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for Power BI service issues raised by end users.

Job Requirements

• 4‑6 years of hands‑on experience administering Power BI Service in an enterprise setting.
• Proven track record managing user access, security models, and licensing within Power BI. Strong understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform and its admin portals.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Azure AD/Entra ID (identity and access management). Demonstrated ability to monitor and manage capacity, storage, and overall platform performance.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) for clear communication with global stakeholders. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are advantageous.

Experience with Power BI Premium capacity and workspace management. Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Power Platform components. Proficiency in PowerShell or Azure CLI for automation of administrative tasks. Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2). Exposure to Azure services such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Storage. Ability to create documentation and runbooks for platform procedures.
