Turia GBS in Medellín, Colombia is looking for a Business Intelligence professional to transform data into impactful business insights. You will support strategic decision-making by providing analytical solutions that drive corporate strategy and governance.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and over 5 years of experience in data analysis, with advanced skills in SQL and Power BI. A hybrid work model and corporate benefits are offered.

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis roles.
• Advanced knowledge of data architecture and advanced data modeling.
• Proficient in SQL and Power BI.

• Support the identification and prioritization of BI initiatives.
• Translate business needs into high-impact analytical solutions.
• Design and develop analytical solutions, including data architecture and reports.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across the organization.

Role Purpose

Provide Business Intelligence solutions through data analysis, modeling, and governance, transforming information into strategic insights that support business decisions and generate value for the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the business to identify analytical opportunities with strategic impact.
• Support the identification and prioritization of BI initiatives aligned with corporate strategy.
• Translate business needs into high-impact analytical solutions.
• Design and develop analytical solutions, including data architecture, reports, and strategic metrics.
• Technically lead BI projects and actively participate in their execution.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across the organization.
• Manage expectations, timelines, and deliverables with key stakeholders.
• Promote the adoption and proper use of BI tools within the organization.
• Define and evolve BI development, documentation, and governance standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to BI Analysts, supporting team capability development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis roles.
• Fluent conversational English (B2+).
• Advanced knowledge of: Data architecture and advanced data modeling
• Advanced SQL
• Advanced Power BI
• Programming languages
