The Power BI Administrator is responsible for maintaining a stable, secure, and optimized Power BI environment with a strong focus on platform governance. This role includes proactively identifying performance or capacity issues and recommending cost‑saving actions to ensure operational and financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee core Power BI administration, including user access, security configuration, and report deployment.
• Maintain platform stability and performance while addressing operational issues and optimizing capacity.
• Identify and recommend cost‑saving opportunities within the Power BI environment.
• Troubleshoot Power BI and ETL‑related issues to support operational efficiency.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell or other scripting languages.
• Support governance, capacity management, and operational best practices.
• Work with Azure DevOps pipelines to diagnose and resolve deployment challenges.
• Apply knowledge of Azure and cloud data services, data modeling, ETL processes, and integration concepts.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Power BI administration experience.
• Proficiency in user access management, security settings, and deployment processes.
• Strong data modeling and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with ETL concepts and Power BI troubleshooting.
• PowerShell or shell scripting experience for automation.
• Deep understanding of Power BI governance and capacity management.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Microsoft Azure data services.
• Knowledge of data integration and modeling best practices.
