PayJoy is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to guide the Customer Onboarding platform from design through delivery across multiple countries. You will align engineering work with product and business goals, mentor engineers, and shape technical direction while removing obstacles to progress.

The role requires 12+ years in software engineering with 4+ years in leadership, expertise in full stack development and AWS, and strong collaboration with product teams to drive impactful features.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 12+ years in software engineering with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Expert in Javascript/Typescript, PHP/Java/C#, and AWS cloud products.
• Experience with multiple architectures (microservices, service mesh, etc).
• Strong communication and leadership in cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Customer Onboarding platform team across 9+ countries with high availability.
• Define and execute the technical roadmap aligned with product goals.
• Oversee daily operations, task allocation, progress tracking, and delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineering teams to deliver features.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding of engineers; identify skill gaps and plan hiring.
