Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Platform Engineer for the Infrastructure Customer Engineering and Support team. You will design, deploy, and troubleshoot OpenStack/OpenShift environments and work with Kubernetes-based private clouds, collaborating closely with developers and product teams.

The role emphasizes automation, incident resolution, RCA preparation, and staying ahead of cloud/containerization trends.

Competenze

Proven experience designing, deploying and supporting OpenStack/OpenShift environments.
Strong automation scripting skills using Python and Ansible.
Solid networking knowledge in cloud contexts (TCP/IP, routing, load balancing, firewalls).
Experience in RCA and incident resolution for complex issues.
Familiarity with cloud-native tools and container orchestration platforms.

Mansioni

Design, deploy, configure, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize containerized apps and infra on Kubernetes/OpenShift/OpenStack.
Develop, test, and maintain automation scripts with Python and Ansible to streamline operations.
Lead investigation and resolution of high-severity customer incidents.
