Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Cloud/DevOps engineer in Colombia to design, deploy, and optimize containerized apps on Kubernetes, OpenShift, and OpenStack. You will develop automation with Python and Ansible, lead critical incident investigations, and perform root-cause analyses to prevent recurrence.

You should have strong networking foundations, Kubernetes/OpenStack expertise, and scripting abilities with Python and Bash. RHCE and related OpenStack certs are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Red Hat OpenStack and containerization experience preferred.
• Strong scripting with Python and Bash; familiarity with Ansible.
• Proven RCA and incident management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize containerized apps on Kubernetes, OpenShift and OpenStack.
• Develop, test, and maintain automated scripts using Python and Ansible.
• Lead investigation and resolution of high-severity customer incidents.
• Identify root causes and implement durable solutions.
• Prepare and conduct RCAs for critical incidents to prevent recurrence.
• Stay current with cloud and containerization best practices.
