Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in end-to-end Colombian payroll processing.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Desirable: Workday experience or payroll processing experience in Brazil or Mexico.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Payroll Processing: Calculate wages, overtime and deductions using local payroll software while ensuring accurate and timely disbursements to employees.
• Statutory Compliance & Benefits: Manage contributions and reporting for local social security (PILA), health insurance, pension funds, severance (cesantías) and work-risk coverage (ARL).
• Electronic Invoicing Integration: Generate and transmit electronic payroll files (Nómina Electrónica) to the local tax authority (DIAN) to ensure tax compliance.
• Reconciliation & Reporting: Audit payroll transactions, prepare monthly accounting reports, and resolve employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, aligned with standard business hours in one of the following U.S. time zones: Eastern Time, Central Time, Mountain Time or Pacific Time, while maintaining reasonable working hours in Colombia
