Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Payroll Analyst for the Bogota Capability Center. The role emphasizes timely, accurate payroll operations across the Americas region, with responsibility for review, validation and analysis of results and reports.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of payroll/HR operations experience (Americas Region) required.
• Knowledge of US payroll processing, regulations and vendor landscape.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) required.
• Payroll certification (CPP/FPC) preferred.
• Research and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to execute tactically and adapt to day-to-day challenges with minimal supervision.
• Cultural awareness and ability to work across multiple markets.
• Experience with deployment/implementation projects preferred.
• Experience in a multinational company or Finance/HR Shared Services preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP/HR systems such as SAP, Workday, Kronos is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure payroll data from internal applications interfaces into the payroll system before payroll deadline.
• Support accounting, payments, Time & Attendance, and Long-Term incentives within Payroll.
• Perform checks, controls, variance analysis and reconciliations pre-payroll.
• Provide payroll support across project phases: testing, data management, documentation.
• Provide expertise on payroll calculations with third-party providers.
• Support multi-country payroll to align with policies and legal requirements.
• Generate month-end/quarter-end/year-end payroll reports and remittances.
• Maintain payroll process documentation and ensure SOX compliance.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities in payroll processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional projects with payroll dependencies.

Job Description

The position will be part of the Bogota Capability Center organization. The Analyst role should have strong HR or Finance operation experience focused of timeliness, accuracy, and compliance. As an Analyst, you are responsible for consistently delivering assigned tasks and responsibilities for the Americas region. This role will also be responsible for review, validation and analysis of results and reports. You will also facilitate and have tactical responsibilities in the areas of Incident and Change management, Continuous Improvement initiatives, digital capabilities project deliverables and system upgrades. You will follow J&J Global Services tools, procedures, and guidelines in discharge of your day-to-day duties. Strong collaboration, adaptability and time-management are critical for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure payroll-related data from Company internal applications interfaces into the payroll system before payroll deadline.
• Support process of accounting, payments, Time & Attendance, Long Term incentives, as part of Payroll.
• Perform checks, controls, variance analysis and reconciliations during pre-payroll processing and before payroll is finalized.
• Serve as a Payroll support for the different phases of the project like testing, data management, process documentation etc.
• Provide expertise on payroll calculation process with third-party payroll provider.
• Supports multi-country payroll to have an effective operational model in compliance with company policies as well as statutory and legal requirements.
• Ability to perform reporting and remittances such as month end, quarter end and year end payroll returns.
• Ability to perform reporting and reconciliation.
• Executes, in accordance with globally established standards, processes for SOX compliance, internal controls, and required regulatory/statutory requirements (including payroll record data maintenance).
• Maintains a high degree of confidentiality, data protection assurance, conformity with J&J policies, procedures, external regulations, and agencies.
• Updates and maintains payroll process and administration documentation.
• Identifies and raises continuous improvement and automation opportunities.
• Supports cross-functional projects with payroll dependency.
• Supports and resolves payroll related inquiries.
• Demonstrates an understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices, and has experience generating effective prompts to boost efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in Payroll or HR operation is required. (Americas Region)
• Knowledge of payroll US processing (processes, regulations, vendor landscape, etc.).
• Strong English language verbal and written communication skills is required.
• Payroll certification is preferred (e.g. CPP, FPC)
• Research and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to execute tactically, quickly adapt to situations, and address day-to-day operational challenges with minimal supervision.
• Cultural awareness and an ability to work with a multitude of people across multiple markets assigned.
• Prior experience with deployment or implementation projects is preferred.
• Knowledge and/or experience with the Leading Third-Party Payroll Providers (ADP, NGA, SDWorx, etc.
• Prior experience in a multi-national company, and/or experience in Finance/HR Shared Services preferred.
• Prior experience in e-Time, Kronos, Salesforce Service Cloud, SAP, Workday is preferred.
• Knowledge and/or experience with Knowledge Management artifacts such as Desktop Procedures (DTPs) and proficiency with Compliance requirements (SOX and Business Controls) is required.
