Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in logistics/transportation handling international ocean shipments, in-transit and/or inland freight.
• Associates degree, vocational training or two years of college coursework preferred.
• US export/import compliance training preferred.
• Ocean DG training is a plus.
• Intermediate MS Office skills and ability to learn Rhenus systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ocean export shipments and related activities per customer/forwarding agent requirements and company objectives.
• Manage shipments from booking to delivery, including tracking and route optimization.
• Prepare and process shipping documents (BOL, AWB, invoices, EEI, etc.).
• Coordinate with customers, agents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Maintain shipment records, costing, quoting, and billing.
• Monitor shipments and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure FMC, NVOCC compliance and INCOTERMS 2020.
• Resolve operational and system-related issues as needed.
