Job summary

Empresaconfidencial in Bogotá is seeking a Civil Engineer (BSCE) to prepare and review engineering deliverables for overhead transmission line projects, including PLS-CADD models, pole loading calculations, drawings, foundations, and BOMs. The role includes mentoring others and coordinating with the Project Engineer to ensure scope, budget, and quality compliance.

Ideal candidates will have strong English communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Civil (BSCE) degree from an accredited university.
• Strong command of English with good written and oral communication skills.
• Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite.

• Engineering drawings and specifications
• Foundation designs and drawings
• Bill of materials
• Provide mentorship and guidance to others. Perform detailed engineering reviews of the work submitted by others
• Coordinate regularly with the Project Engineer to ensure project scope, budget, and quality expectations are met

Required Education/Experience:

• Civil (BSCE) degree, from an accredited university
• The candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to communicate effectively with internal team members and external client personnel
• Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite

Desired Education/Experience:

• Experience in the design of overhead High Voltage and Extra High Voltage transmission lines including route selection, conductor, OHGW and OPGW selection, line and structure spotting, structure design and analysis, foundation design and analysis, procurement specification development and development of construction bid packages
