Job summary

ICBD, Medellín-based, seeks an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function under US GAAP, oversee close and reporting, strengthen controls, and partner with leadership for informed financial decisions.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting, 2+ years in supervision, ERP experience (NetSuite/QuickBooks), advanced Excel, and knowledge of payroll and multi‑currency consolidations. Hybrid work in Medellín is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• MBA (desirable).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or QuickBooks preferred).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC guidance.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling).
• Knowledge of payroll accounting and multi‑currency considerations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger and close processes in alignment with US GAAP.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage reporting, internal controls, and audit coordination.
• Provide coaching and development to accounting staff across functions.
• Support budgeting, cash flow, and payroll accounting activities.
• Analyze variances, improve processes, and partner with leadership.
