Charger logistics Inc in Bogotá, Colombia is seeking a strategic Logistics Coordinator to optimize inbound and outbound freight, ensure carrier compliance, and support growth across North American routes.

The role requires a minimum of two years in supply chain/transport, a degree in logistics or business, advanced English, and willingness to travel monthly to Bogotá at personal expense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and/or Business.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain/Transportation.
• Experience dealing with FTL shipments.
• Familiarity with North American geography.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to learn new software.
• Strong problem solving and decision making, team oriented.
• Based in Bogotá or able to travel monthly to Bogotá at personal expense.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight flow with daily priorities and weekly targets.
• Ensure carrier compliance with company policies.
• Analyze lane data, on-time performance, and costs to negotiate rates.
• Communicate with brokers, carriers and customers to resolve discrepancies.
• Direct logistics activities: rates, 3PLs, tracking and expediting shipments.
• Verify and troubleshoot shipping or customs documentation (PODs, BOL, carrier confirmation).

We are currently looking for a very strategic and motivated Logistics Coordinator to add to our team.

Schedules available:

Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM CST

Monday to Friday: 1:00PM to 10:00PM CST

Friday to Monday: 8:00AM to 5:00PM CST

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound freight while staying abreast of daily priorities and weekly transportation targets.
• Ensure carrier compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Analyze lane data, on-time performance and costs to effectively negotiate rates with customers and third-party carriers to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with brokers, carriers and the customers to resolve any discrepancies.
• Direct and organize logistics activities such as obtaining shipment rates, negotiating with logistics service providers, selecting 3PL partners, tracking and expediting shipments.
• Verify and troubleshoot any issues in shipping or customs documentation including, but not limited to, PODs, BOL and carrier confirmation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and/or Business is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain/Transportation industry is required.
• Experience dealing with FTL shipments.
• Familiarity with North American geography.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the aptitude to learn new software quickly.
• Problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Advanced English skills is a must.
• Ideally, must be based in Bogotá or able to travel via their own expense once a month to Bogotá-
