Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a seasoned LLM Engineer to own and ship the internal automation roadmap. This builder role focuses on production systems atop LLMs, not model training.

You will build agentic workflows, integrate with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs, and develop internal tools to reduce manual hours across our design and development production processes. This role supports remote work in Latin America and South Africa.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.

This is a builder role, not a research role. You will not be training models, you will be building production systems on top of them.
