Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer into every part of how we work. As LLM Engineer you own and ship our internal automation roadmap, building production systems on top of large language models. This is a builder role, not a research role.

You will work remotely with a US-based team, focusing on LangChain, LangGraph and API/tool integrations to automate workflows. You bring 2+ years of production software with Python or Node.js, hands-on with agent frameworks, OpenAI/Anthropic

Formación

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsabilidades

• Own and ship the internal automation roadmap, building production systems on top of LM tooling.
• Build agent workflows and integrations with LangChain, LangGraph or similar frameworks.
• Implement API integrations with OpenAI and Anthropic, including tool usage and function calling.
• Create automation pipelines linking internal tools and external APIs, reducing manual hours.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to deploy scalable AI-enabled solutions.

What You Will Build

• Agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrations with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Internal tools that reduce manual hours across our design and development production process.
• Automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS.
• MCP server integrations as part of our broader AI stack.

What You Bring

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
