We’re hiring a Lead Accountant to head the US tax team at a corporate services firm in Bogotá. The role focuses on US tax compliance for individuals and entities, reviewing returns, supervising staff, and driving process improvements. On-site with hybrid option after probation.

Ideal candidates have strong US GAAP experience, QuickBooks Online proficiency, and excellent English. You will collaborate with accounting, finance, and legal teams and interact closely with clients to explain complex

Formación

Experience in US tax return preparation and technical review across federal, state, and foreign entities.
Proven leadership and team supervision experience.
Strong client-facing communication and relationship management.
Advanced English proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

Lead and mentor the tax team, managing priorities, deadlines, and operational efficiency.
Oversee federal, state, and international tax compliance for individual and business clients (LLCs, partnerships, S-Corps, C-Corps).
Support tax planning, identify risks/opportunities, and ensure overall accuracy before filing.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, explaining complex tax strategies and recommendations.
Partner with internal Accounting, Finance, and Legal teams to optimize workflows.
