Empresa Confidencial in Bogotá seeks an Accounting Lead to oversee monthly close, balance sheet and P&L analysis for international clients. You will coach a team, ensure accurate journals, and drive process improvements across R2R and reporting.

Requires multi-country accounting experience, IFRS knowledge, fluent English, and strong stakeholder management. Hybrid work model and local benefits are offered.

Formación

• Proven multi-country accounting experience across entities
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS beneficial
• Experience in leading teams and coordinating with stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset
• Ability to ensure accuracy in month-end close and reporting

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team responsible for monthly analysis of accounts (TB, Balance Sheet, P&L) and explain movements
• Be a Subject Matter Expert for GL / R2R / Financial Reporting
• Oversee reconciliations and ensure high-quality accounting records
• Prepare and review journals and postings for timely close
• Review team work and ensure activities meet standards
• Support period end close and address queries across teams
• Produce routine analyses and summaries for clients
• Prepare audit deliverables as required
• Coach and motivate team to meet targets and service levels
• Engage with finance and non-finance stakeholders across borders
• Drive automation, standardization and improvements within the team
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Escalate issues when needed and monitor KPIs
• Maintain process documentation and related updates
• Perform other duties as assigned
