Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc in Colombia is seeking a Lead AWS DevOps Engineer to build a Kubernetes-based service mesh platform that enables reliable cloud infrastructure deployments and platform engineering at scale.

You will lead development and operations across AWS with Terraform and Kubernetes, design deployment patterns, ensure scalable, available, and cost-efficient infrastructure, and collaborate across global teams to plan, deliver, and support platform releases.

Qualifications

• Lead-level DevOps experience (5+ years).
• Strong Kubernetes experience.
• Strong Amazon Web Services experience.
• Hands-on Terraform experience.
• Technical leadership to guide design decisions and reviews.
• Platform engineering knowledge for building internal deployment platforms.
• Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
• Clear written communication skills for documentation and technical alignment.
• English proficiency: B2 Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evolution of a Kubernetes-based service mesh platform.
• Design cloud infrastructure deployment patterns and platform capabilities on AWS.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code workflows using Terraform.
