Job summary

Tetra Pak is seeking an experienced Communications Director to head the Communications function in Latin America, covering Southern Cone, Andina, Central America and Mexico. You will partner with market leaders to support priorities and enhance the company’s reputation across the region.

Lead a small team and agencies, act as spokesperson when required, and report to the VP of Market Communications. Travel approximately 25–30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10–15 years of communications experience in senior leadership.
• Proven ability to lead in fast-paced international business.
• Strong leadership and team development.
• Excellent business acumen and stakeholder management.
• Experience guiding leaders through transformation.
• Proactive, pragmatic, results-oriented.
• Strong cross-cultural collaboration.
• Excellent English and local language skills.
• Proficiency with digital tools including Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal communications, reputation management and public relations.
• Lead annual communications planning with cross-functional inputs.
• Develop integrated plans aligned with global strategy.
• Drive plan execution with measurable outcomes.
• Protect and strengthen regional reputation and manage crises.
• Serve as trusted advisor to Managing Directors and leadership teams.
• Contribute to Global Communications Leadership Team.
