Gallagher Re in Bogotá is seeking an Accounting & Settlement Specialist to help manage client funds securely and ensure accurate settlement of payments across the Latin America region.

You will collaborate with global teams, support payment processing, and maintain high standards of accuracy and regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional client service in English and Spanish.

Formación

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Portuguese language skills are a plus, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure client funds are managed securely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Support the timely collection and processing of payments.
• Build trusted relationships with clients by becoming a key contact for payment-related inquiries.
• Contribute to the smooth movement of funds by partnering with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.
• Use financial reporting tools to monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Help maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Overview

Are you detail-oriented, client-focused, and passionate about financial operations? Join Gallagher Re as an Accounting & Settlement Specialist, where you will play an important role in ensuring the secure and efficient management of client funds while supporting the timely settlement of payments across the Latin America region. In this position, you will work closely with clients and international teams, helping to deliver a high standard of service and contributing to positive client experiences through accurate, efficient, and reliable financial processes.

About you

You may be a great fit for this role if you have experience in accounting, financial operations, insurance or reinsurance accounting, credit control, collections, settlements, or other related fields. • Has 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Holds a bachelor's degree in a numerical, finance-related, business, or similar field.
• Communicates confidently in both English and Spanish.

• Builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Is comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and organization.
• Demonstrates curiosity, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.
