A leading technology services company in Medellín is hiring a Junior IT Support / Systems Technician. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience supporting real users and systems. The ideal candidate will assist with technical issues, support daily IT operations, and must have a technical degree or be studying in related fields. Formación

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in IT support or internships is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and follow IT procedures.
• Availability to work on a rotating shift schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic technical support to end users on-site and remote.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving common hardware and software issues.
• Support installation and configuration of Windows operating systems.
• Assist with setup and support of computer peripherals.
• Support basic network connectivity issues.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on computer equipment.
• Register and follow up on support tickets.
• Escalate incidents that require advanced technical support.
• Support day-to-day IT tasks.

Conocimientos

Technical degree or studying Systems/IT

Basic knowledge of Windows OS support

Basic understanding of computer hardware

General knowledge of network basics

Educación

Technical degree in IT or related fields
