Zimmer Biomet invites an IT Technician to join our global technology team in Bogotá. The role provides end-user IT support, maintains assets, and helps enforce security policies with minimal supervision. The position is on-site five days per week and may involve after-hours support when required.

You will document issues and resolutions, assist IT colleagues, and contribute to standardized processes and safe, reliable IT operations across the organization.

Formación

• Minimum requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, with specialized training and/or certification and 2 years of relevant experience.
• Technical IT certifications preferred.

What You Can Expect

The IT Technician performs a combination of the following technical IT support activities with minimal supervision:

Works with a team and effectively across team boundaries and organizational levels to provide customer-first technical support for key IT assets, including end-user assets, networks, security systems, and communication systems. Support may be provided in person or virtually. The role occasionally requires after-hours and weekend support. The IT Technician understands, executes, and helps define IT processes and standards, including change and incident management, software installation, and system configuration. The role also proactively enforces global and local security policies to protect ZBS information assets, and may require lifting or moving technical equipment. This position applies the principles, concepts, and practices of the ZBS Competency Model at the Technician level.

This position is on-site 5 days per week.
