Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Demand Planner to craft Latin America demand plans in partnership with commercial, product, and finance teams. You will coordinate the full planning cycle from data collection to the approved Latin America plan and drive action plans to improve forecast accuracy.

Focus is on collaborating with the LatAm Demand Controller, COE, and IT to assure data quality, and to deliver timely management reports. Strong SAP IBP, Excel, and statistics skills are essential.

Formación

• BS/BA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field.
• 3-5 years in demand planning/forecasting with cross-functional exposure.
• Experience with SAP, IBP, APO, ERP, Tableau, and SQL is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.

The Demand Planner is responsible for creating the demand plans for all markets in the Latin America region by partnering with the commercial team, product management, and finance partners to develop accurate sales and pipeline forecasts. This position will collaborate with the LatAm Demand Controller and the Demand Planning COE.

The Demand Planner coordinates all steps within the demand planning process from demand collection to the approved demand plan for Latin America. Through monthly planning sessions and demand reviews, this position will monitor and advise recommended action plans to ensure accurate forecasting.

How You’ll Create Impact

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Enable ZB to achieve high quality demand plans by increasing forecast accuracy for specific products within specific countries
• Analyze historic and current demand trends, and generate and evaluate the market baselines
• Cleanse the demand history from one-off effects (HIE and others) and other effects that have the potential to reduce the data quality for later statistical projection steps
• Confirm that business assumptions used to generate demand plans are reviewed, updated, and documented
• Execute and strategically create future fulfillment plans
• Lead monthly statistical reviews and demand reviews with all the LatAm sub-regions
• Serve as the subject matter expert for all demand plans of the LatAm region
• Work with COE and IT to ensure and verify data quality
• Collaborate with New Product Introduction demand planning teams to ensure correct transition in demand plans
• Prepare monthly management reports identifying any relevant problems and recommending solutions that will improve future demand plans
• Drive alignment discussions for implant and instrument set utilization demand plans to ensure alignment with sales plans, utilization goals, and Capex
• Interact with all organizations including marketing, sales, finance, manufacturing, and asset management to ensure a smooth demand planning process

Your Background

Education/Experience Requirements

• BS or BA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience working in demand planning/forecasting
• Supply Chain experience with good understanding of processes in sales, marketing, and finance
• Experience with SAP, IBP, APO, ERP, Tableau, and SQL a plus
• Experience in the Medical Devices industry preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish; Portuguese a plus
