Job summary

Keyrus seeks a Functional Consulting Intern to bridge data, AI, and business needs. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, learn to connect business requirements with data and AI solutions, and contribute to projects across industries from Colombia.

You will build skills in data analysis, documentation, and agile collaboration while gaining exposure to CRM and marketing automation workflows. This internship is 6 months and 100% remote.

Qualifications

• Final-year student in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field
• Able to read technical English
• Familiar with Excel (pivot tables, data consolidation)
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Good writing and documentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Team player with collaboration across disciplines
• Experience with AI prompts and evaluation

Responsibilities

• Document business requirements, user stories, and processes
• Support discovery sessions and workshops with notes and actions
• Assist data analysis, data dictionaries, and quality requirements

What You'll Architect

As a Functional Consulting Intern at Keyrus, you will work alongside a team of highly skilled professionals who excel not only in technical expertise but also in collaboration and human‑centered values. You will contribute to projects across different industries, learning how to connect business needs with data, customer experience, and artificial intelligence solutions.

What will your day‑to‑day look like?

At Keyrus, every day is an opportunity to innovate and take on new challenges. You will be involved in:

• Understanding our clients' businesses, including their objectives, processes, customers, and key performance indicators, and translating them into clear requirements.
• Supporting discovery sessions and workshops with business teams by capturing meeting notes, findings, and action items.
• Documenting functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and business processes.
• Assisting with data analysis and documentation, including data dictionaries, data models, segmentation rules, and data quality requirements.
• Supporting functional testing of campaigns, customer journeys, and automations within CRM and marketing platforms.
• Using generative AI tools in your daily work to research, analyze information, document findings, and create well‑structured deliverables.
• Supporting the identification and documentation of AI use cases for clients, including the business problems they solve, the data they require, and the value they generate.
• Preparing draft presentations, matrices, and documents for both clients and internal teams.
• Tracking project tasks and action items using agile project management tools.
• Participating in team ceremonies alongside consultants, architects, designers, developers, and project managers.

What You Bring

• Qualifications / Certifications
  • Student in the final semesters of a degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, and have university approval to complete a professional internship.
  • Are curious about how businesses operate and ask thoughtful questions.
  • Regularly use generative AI tools with sound judgment, knowing how to craft effective prompts and validate results.
  • Have intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and data consolidation.
  • Have basic knowledge of databases and data analysis.
  • Possess strong writing, summarization, and documentation skills.
  • Have an analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively and enjoy working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • Can read and understand technical English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Interest in rapid prototyping, experimentation, and continuous learning
• Understanding of business processes and how technology can optimize them
• Structured communication skills to document solutions and present technical ideas clearly

What Makes You Successful

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain ideas clearly and collaborate across technical and business teams
• Demonstrates curiosity, ownership, and a proactive mindset when exploring new technologies
• Completed courses or personal projects related to AI, data analytics, or automation.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, customer data platforms, or marketing automation solutions (Salesforce or similar).
• Knowledge of Customer Experience (CX), Design Thinking, or agile methodologies.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or Mural.
