Monks, a global digital-first organization, seeks an Intercompany Accountant to manage reconciliation across entities and support month-end close. You will collaborate with regional finance teams, ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance, and drive process improvements using ERP systems like SAP/Oracle/NetSuite.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in intercompany accounting, strong Excel skills, and English proficiency. This role is based in Bogotá with a focus on accuracy and timely financial reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, intercompany processes, or financial reconciliation.
• Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS.
• Experience with ERP accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations).
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• English proficiency (intermediate/advanced).

Responsabilidades

• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions, invoices, and balances across all entities.
• Monitor intercompany accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies (GAAP/IFRS).
• Collaborate with regional and local finance teams to resolve discrepancies and mismatches in intercompany balances.
• Support month-end and year-end close by preparing intercompany reconciliations, journals, and reports.
• Ensure intercompany charges (management fees, cross-charges, cost allocations, etc.) are processed on time and accurately.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide required documentation for internal and external auditors.
• Maintain intercompany agreements and ensure compliance with transfer pricing policies and tax regulations.
• Identify process improvements and propose automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Generate periodic reports on intercompany balances, settlements, and outstanding items.
