The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking an Intake Supervisor in Colombia to oversee security and control activities in the Intake Department, coordinating detainee intake and release and staffing to ensure efficient facility operations.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, college coursework in behavioral sciences, and at least three years in a correctional setting with supervisory duties; strong computer skills and stress tolerance are essential.

Formación

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework and advanced training in behavioral sciences, correctional services or related field preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience in a correctional setting, with supervisory responsibilities.
• Must be mature, flexible, and able to manage stress in demanding environments.
• Ability to work with computers and standard department software.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and schedule work of Intake and Release Officers.
• Coordinate detainee intake and discharge for facility.
• Respond to major incidents and provide timely assistance as needed.
• Direct staff, including hiring, evaluating, training and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure procedures including emergency protocols are followed and staff trained.
• Maintain daily logs and prepare required records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with rules and regulations for intake/discharge operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
