Scotiabank in Bogotá seeks a risk analytics professional to support the Enhanced Monitoring Program for insider threat risk across business lines. You will review monitoring alerts, analyze data, prepare findings, and maintain documentation in compliance with regulatory controls.

The role requires strong problem solving, Excel and Power BI skills, and a solid understanding of operational risk within a large international bank.

Formación

• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and negotiating skills
• Strong written and verbal skills (must be able to prepare documentation and interact effectively with other Bank departments)
• Good accountability and time-management skills
• Thorough knowledge of Bank's regulations, policies, procedures, operations, and functions
• Working knowledge of Global Operations and related units across Canadian & International Banking
• Experience in Contact Center and/or Collections
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related fields
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI; big data analytics, data modeling or data science related to intelligence analysis

Responsabilidades

• Champions a customer-focused culture and leverages Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
• Maintains expert knowledge of Bank processes, policies, procedures, applications, and products related to Insider Threat and Internal Fraud risk.
• Follows regulatory and operational controls documents and contributes to monitoring program.
• Conducts reviews, technical analysis and reporting of insider activity data and monitoring alerts.
• Collaborates with peers to analyze, validate and translate monitoring rules into positive matches.
• Prepares reports on review findings and communicates with business units and partners.
• Escalates issues as required and ensures case remediations are completed within timeframes.
