HRB is seeking a Principal Engineer to own end-to-end, full-stack initiatives across frontend and backend systems. You will define the technical strategy, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate with Product, Design, and Business teams in a fast-paced fintech environment.

You will lead the design of scalable, secure services, mentor engineers, and ensure production readiness with strong emphasis on performance and reliability as the platform scales globally.

Formación

• 10+ years of software engineering with full-stack expertise.
• Ability to own large technical initiatives end-to-end.
• Expert-level JavaScript/TypeScript with React.js experience.
• Strong backend with Node.js and Golang; proficient databases.
• Experience designing RESTful/GraphQL APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, GCP or Azure) and CI/CD
• Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.

• Own full-stack initiatives from problem definition to production support.
• Define and drive technical strategy and roadmap in a fast-moving startup.
• Design scalable, secure frontend and backend systems with minimal dependencies.
• Lead development with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders.
• Make pragmatic architecture decisions balancing speed and long-term scale.
• Write and review high-impact code across frontend and backend.
• Resolve ambiguous technical problems with limited requirements.
• Establish engineering best practices and coding standards.
• Drive performance, scalability, reliability and security as user base grows.
• Own production readiness, monitoring, incident response, post-mortems.
