Job summary

Community Investment Management (CIM) is seeking an Investment Analyst for our Emerging Markets team in Bogota, Colombia. You will contribute across CIM's investments, helping establish CIM as a leading credit provider for fintech lending across emerging markets.

The role demands a passion for impact at scale, rigorous financial modeling, and the ability to work autonomously in a global, collaborative setting with cross-border teams.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in fintech, investment banking, debt financing or structured products.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; experienced in financial modeling.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deal-specific diligence including financial and credit analysis; build detailed financial models.
• Monitor existing investments with periodic analytical reviews and portfolio engagement.
• Synthesize findings and prepare investment memos; present recommendations to the team.
• Support investment structuring, negotiation, documentation and execution.
• Analyze new markets and fintech verticals; monitor regulatory landscapes in target markets.
• Coordinate with San Francisco, New York, Asia and CIM offices for investor reporting and risk updates.
• Travel occasionally to target markets and CIM head office.
