Job summary

iGRAVITY is seeking a Senior Investment Associate for its Impact Ventures team, based in Bogota, Colombia. The role centers on debt financing for SMEs and growth-stage companies across Latin America, leading structuring, due diligence, and IC-ready analyses.

You will originate opportunities in Colombia and regional markets, prepare investment memoranda, and manage portfolio relationships through exit or resolution, contributing to IMM frameworks.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in SME or growth-stage lending, credit analysis, or debt-focused investment roles in Latin America or impact investing.
• Proven credit assessment skills: loan structuring, covenant design, collateral evaluation, and cash flow underwriting.
• Experience with structured lending, asset-backed financing, or trade-related financing instruments is preferred.
• Experience building financial models focused on debt servicing capacity and drafting investment memoranda for IC approval.
• Exposure to impact measurement and management (IMM) frameworks.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; Bachelor’s degree in related field; CFA/CPA advantages.

Responsibilities

• Pipeline development and origination across Colombia and regional markets; build a robust pipeline from sourcing to IC submission.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, financial statement analysis, and synthesis of findings for investment recommendations.
• Lead the structuring of debt facilities (term loans, working capital, revenue-based or hybrid) with appropriate covenants.
• Draft investment memoranda and present to Investment Committees with clear credit thesis and risks.
• Portfolio monitoring, covenant tracking, and investor reporting; lead exit or resolution processes.
