Job summary

Community Investment Management (CIM) in Bogota, Colombia seeks an Investment Analyst to support our Emerging Markets team. You will contribute across CIM's work to position CIM as a premier credit provider for fintech lending in target markets, with a strong emphasis on impact at scale and autonomy within a global team.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of fintech or debt financing experience, fluency in Spanish and English, and proficiency in Python, R, or SQL with data warehousing/AWS

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of fintech, investment banking, debt financing, or structured products experience.
• Strong analytical skills and financial modeling expertise.
• Clear written and verbal communication in team discussions.
• Autonomy within a small, highly collaborative global team.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deal-specific diligence, including financial and credit analysis on new and existing investments.
• Build detailed models to evaluate investment performance across scenarios.
• Monitor existing investments with periodic analytical reviews and portfolio engagement.
• Synthesize findings and develop investment memos with recommendations for the team.
• Support investment structuring, negotiation, documentation, and execution.
• Analyze new markets and fintech verticals, monitor regulatory landscapes in target markets.
• Coordinate with San Francisco, New York, Asia, and CIM locations for reporting and risk coordination.
