Job summary

Marsh in Bogota is seeking a finance professional to join its team. This hybrid role requires at least three days in the office and focuses on managing a portfolio of clients and handling day-to-day financial activities.

You will prepare financial statements, ensure regulatory compliance, support audits, and maintain strong client relationships across international accounts. CPA or CPA enrolment preferred, with 1 year of experience and a degree in Accounting.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or CPA enrolment preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements accurately and timely.
• Build and maintain relationships with a portfolio of international clients.
• Reconcile cash and investment accounts; prepare bank deposits and cash disbursements.
• Plan and complete annual audits, including regulatory filings and GAAP statements.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for local accounting and financial reporting.
• Maintain client files according to regulations and best practices.
• Correspond with other service providers and prepare materials for board meetings.
• Comply with Marsh internal controls and client-specific controls.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
