Job summary

Rankings.io is seeking a meticulous Data Management Specialist to own the accuracy and usability of our sales and marketing data in HubSpot. This remote independent contractor role collaborates with our US-based team, requires strong English communication, and focuses on lists, views, imports, and data integrity to support targeted outreach for law firms.

Reporting to the VP of RevOps, you will maintain CRM standards, perform audits, deduplicate, and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in data management, CRM administration, sales operations, or RevOps
• Hands-on HubSpot CRM experience: lists, views, properties, imports, deduplication
• Strong Excel skills: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivots, data cleanup
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Highly organized, capable of recurring maintenance and ad hoc requests
• Clear written communication for documenting processes
• HubSpot certifications are a plus
• Security requirement: maintain endpoint security software during engagement

Responsibilities

• List Building & Management: build, segment, and maintain lists in HubSpot for outreach and reporting
• Data Integrity & Deduplication: identify and merge duplicates; correct inaccurate records
• Views & Data Upkeep: create and update saved views, filters, properties
• Imports & Exports: prepare, clean, and import data; format exports for analysis
• Data Standards: define and enforce naming conventions and required fields
• Ongoing Audits: run data health checks; flag gaps affecting reporting
• Cross-Team Support: partner with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to deliver accurate lists and views
