Job summary

iQor, Inc. is hiring an HR Generalist on a fixed-term contract to oversee day-to-day HR operations in Medellín, Colombia. The role emphasizes contract management, onboarding, training materials, and compliance with local labor laws while supporting employee development and engagement.

Responsibilities include handling diverse HR projects, reporting, and ensuring smooth leave processes. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in HR, strong English communication, and experience with HRIS and Colombia

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as an HR Generalist; call center (BPO) experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English B2+/C1).
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment law (Colombia).

Responsibilities

• Develop HR solutions by collecting and analyzing information and advising on actionable steps.
• Improve manager and employee performance and experience by identifying problems and evaluating potential solutions.
• Oversee special projects, set timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, conduct research, and fulfill transactions.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws by staying updated and advising management on necessary actions.
• Provide onboarding for new hires and integrate them into the company culture.
• Review and file new hire paperwork efficiently.
• Track and administer employee leave and ensure smooth processes.
• Administer Employee Satisfaction Survey to gauge engagement.
• Address employee relations, concerns, and performance issues as they arise.
• Manage personnel files and conduct exit interviews as needed.
• Update and revise employee policies and procedures as required.
• Maintain a positive workplace culture by managing day-to-day office tasks.
