Job summary

Relay Robotics, Inc. is seeking an early-career Technical Solutions Associate to support hospital deployments and customer implementations.

You will help with pre-installation planning, go-live readiness, and onsite technical support, while diagnosing issues across Linux, networking, and cloud services. You will collaborate with Solutions, Field Operations, and Engineering teams to build scalable processes.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years in technical, operations, support, or implementation roles.
• Technical foundation in CS, information systems, engineering, IT, or related field.
• Comfort with Linux command line and basic navigation.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (IP, DHCP, DNS, ports, WiFi, VPNs).
• Experience with Python or another scripting language.
• Familiarity with databases, logs, APIs, or cloud-connected systems.
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel 20–40% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Support new hospital deployments from pre-installation planning through go-live.
• Assist with site readiness, including network requirements, robot configuration, and mapping.
• Provide onsite technical support during installations and upgrades.
• Validate robot operation in live hospital environments and perform customer acceptance testing.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve blockers during deployment.
• Investigate issues using logs, telemetry, and cloud service data.
• Troubleshoot Linux, networking, cloud connectivity, and databases.
• Join customer calls and support senior team members with planning and deployment.
• Document lessons learned and contribute to playbooks and guides.
