INGEPSY is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to maintain and enhance a headless Shopify storefront using React, Shopify Hydrogen, and React Router. This role focuses on delivering polished ecommerce experiences and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• 3+ years of experience with Shopify Storefront API.
• Strong understanding of GraphQL.
• Experience with Shopify products, variants, collections, and metafields.
• Experience with APIs and third-party integrations.
• Ability to work within an existing custom codebase.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and improve custom Shopify Hydrogen storefront using React and React Router.
• Work with Shopify's Storefront API, GraphQL, collections, products, variants, metafields, and other Shopify data.
• Translate business requirements and rough mockups into intuitive, functional ecommerce experiences.
• Evaluate proposed features for technical feasibility and recommend alternatives when API or platform limitations exist.
• Work with Storyblok headless CMS and Algolia search and recommendation functionality.
• Implement and troubleshoot ecommerce analytics and marketing integrations.
• Support ecommerce SEO requirements including redirects, canonical tags, structured data, breadcrumbs, metadata, and indexability.
• Improve frontend performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Communicate technical constraints, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical team members.
• Work effectively within and improve an existing custom codebase.

Schedule: 09:00 AM- 5:00 PM Central Time

Salary: Up to $20 per hour ( USD monthly up to $3,200)

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer with strong React, React Router, and Shopify Hydrogen experience to maintain and continuously improve an existing headless ecommerce storefront.

This is primarily a frontend-focused position. The developer will work within an established custom codebase and collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to build polished ecommerce experiences, troubleshoot technical issues, evaluate feature feasibility, and recommend practical solutions.

The ideal candidate is more than a React developer who has worked with Shopify. Should have professional experience building and maintaining Shopify Hydrogen/headless ecommerce applications and be comfortable working with Shopify APIs, GraphQL, integrations, ecommerce functionality, and frontend architecture.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve custom Shopify Hydrogen storefront using React and React Router
• Build responsive, accessible interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Work with Shopify's Storefront API, GraphQL, collections, products, variants, metafields, and other Shopify data
• Translate business requirements and rough mockups into intuitive, functional ecommerce experiences
• Evaluate proposed features for technical feasibility and recommend alternatives when API or platform limitations exist
• Troubleshoot issues across the storefront, Shopify data/APIs, browser behavior, and third-party integrations
• Work with Storyblok headless CMS and Algolia search and recommendation functionality
• Implement and troubleshoot ecommerce analytics and marketing integrations
• Support ecommerce SEO requirements including redirects, canonical tags, structured data, breadcrumbs, metadata, and indexability
• Improve frontend performance, usability, and maintainability
• Communicate technical constraints, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical team members

Requirements

• 3+ strong hands on professional experience with Shopify Hydrogen, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS,React Router
• Experience developing headless ecommerce storefronts
• 3+ years of experience with Shopify Storefront API
• Strong understanding of GraphQL
• Experience working with Shopify products, variants, collections, and metafields
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations
• Ability to work within and improve an existing custom codebase

Frontend / Product

• Strong UI/UX judgment
• Ability to translate business requirements or rough mockups into functional interfaces
• Understanding of responsive and accessible frontend development
• Ability to identify technical or usability limitations before implementation
• Ability to recommend practical alternatives when a requested approach is not technically appropriate

Communication

• Excellent English communication skills
• Able to clearly explain technical constraints and tradeoffs to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of assigned work

Nice to Have

Candidates should receive additional consideration for experience with:

• Experience with Shopify theme architecture and customization
• Experience with Storyblok or another headless CMS
• Experience with Algolia in React or headless ecommerce environments
• Experience with ecommerce analytics and event tracking, including GA4
• Experience with Klaviyo or similar marketing integrations in a headless environment
• Experience with ecommerce SEO and site migrations
• Experience migrating established ecommerce sites from custom platforms to Shopify/Hydrogen
• Experience with performance optimization, Git, testing, and deployment workflows
