Job summary

Taxpayer Law LLP in Colombia seeks a founding senior legal professional to lead our legal research, publishing, and thought leadership initiatives, producing authoritative Canadian tax law content using AI tools and primary sources.

You will research, write, edit, and publish materials, coordinate lawyer reviews with SEO/ GEO specialists and developers, monitor ongoing Canadian tax developments, and ensure deadlines and quality across all flagship resources.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer in Colombia with at least five years of professional legal experience.
• Exceptional legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
• Outstanding written English, including formal legal analysis and accessible client-facing content.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to verifying legal information against primary sources.
• Genuine interest in AI-assisted legal research, writing, and publishing.

Responsibilities

• Research and publish approximately 10 substantial legal articles per month, including flagship cornerstone resources.
• Develop four one-minute video scripts monthly, alongside LinkedIn posts and client communications.
• Verify all legal claims against primary sources including legislation, guidance, and case law.
• Edit legal content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and publication quality.
• Manage the complete publication process, coordinating lawyer reviews, SEO/GEO specialists, developers, and final approvals.
• Monitor Canadian tax law developments and keep materials up to date.
• Oversee publication schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
• Prepare monthly reports on content production and performance.

Taxpayer Law is a Canadian law firm specializing in Canadian tax disputes, including Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) audits, objections, appeals, and voluntary disclosures. We are building a leading digital resource for Canadian tax disputes and are seeking an exceptional legal professional to lead our legal research, publishing, and thought leadership initiatives.

About the Role

This is a founding senior position focused on developing and managing the firm's legal knowledge and publishing function. You will research, write, edit, and publish authoritative Canadian tax law content using advanced AI tools and legal research databases. This is a legal role, not a traditional marketing position. Prior knowledge of Canadian tax law is not required, as Canadian tax lawyers will review all publications.
