UPS is hiring a Brokerage General Office Assistant in Bogotá. You will support import/export diligences, document handling, and filing tasks, while ensuring accurate data entry and timely communication with supervisors.

The role requires basic accounting knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, with formal education at high school or technical/tech level. This is a permanent position within a global logistics leader.

Formación

• Certification in customs clearance preferred.
• Requires accounting knowledge to prepare balances, reconcile, and determine adjustments to accounts or reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel); education level: high school, technical, or technologist.

Responsabilidades

• Handle import/export diligences before DIAN and other entities such as free zones, public depots, airlines, financial entities, and ports.
• Assist in data entry of declarations and value addenda.
• Support in data entry of import records.
• Assemble opening folders, validate documents, and breakdowns.
• Send folders for filing and route processes to cargo inspection.
• Assist in payments (declarations, clearances, registrations).
• Communicate with supervisor about issues requiring escalation.
• Enter data in computer systems as needed, including traceability dates and aduanera information.
