Job summary

Revolut Ltd. is seeking a Retail Credit Risk Manager to oversee exposure across the full credit lifecycle, from acquisition to collections, and to shape risk-adjusted return requirements.

You will monitor portfolio performance, collaborate with Risk Modelling, and manage risk appetite with limits and governance. The role requires 4+ years in retail credit risk, strong analytics, SQL/Python skills, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing retail credit risk.
• Solid understanding of risk governance and the 3 lines of defence model in a financial institution.
• Expertise in Colombian and European credit risk regulations, methodologies, and frameworks.
• Knowledge of behavioural scoring models and their application to retail credit portfolios.
• Great analytical skills and a data-driven approach to risk assessment and decision-making.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for analysing portfolio and risk data.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
• Impeccable organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing retail credit risk exposure across the full credit lifecycle, from acquisition through portfolio management and collections.
• Monitoring portfolio performance using key KPIs and BCIs, identifying trends and emerging risks.
• Partnering with the Risk Modelling team to develop, implement, and monitor retail credit risk models.
• Managing risk appetite through limit calibration, monitoring, and escalation of material exposures.
• Reviewing and challenging first-line policies, procedures, and controls to ensure they align with the risk framework.
• Assessing credit risk for new products and initiatives, identifying potential risks before launch.
• Monitoring expected credit losses and assessing their impact on portfolio performance and profitability.
• Overseeing collections performance and ensuring processes remain effective and within the defined risk framework.
• Engaging with senior stakeholders, risk committees, and regional regulators on material credit risks and limit governance.
• Identifying emerging risks requiring immediate action and driving appropriate risk mitigation.
