Job summary

Revolut is seeking a seasoned Retail Credit Risk Manager in Colombia to lead risk oversight across the full credit lifecycle, from acquisition to collections, ensuring safe and profitable portfolio growth.

You will collaborate with Risk Modelling and cross-functional teams to calibrate risk appetite, monitor performance, and implement robust controls, while staying aligned with local and international regulations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing retail credit risk across products such as credit cards and unsecured personal loans.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk governance and the 3 lines of defence model within a financial institution.
• Expertise in Colombian and European credit risk regulations, methodologies, and frameworks.
• Knowledge of behavioural scoring models and their application to retail credit portfolios.
• Great analytical skills and a data-driven approach to risk assessment and decision-making.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for analysing portfolio and risk data.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
• Impeccable organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• The ability to understand overall operations and collaborate effectively with Finance, Operations, IT, and Data Science teams.
• Fluency in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Oversee retail credit risk exposure across the full credit lifecycle, from acquisition through portfolio management and collections.
• Monitor portfolio performance using key KPIs and BCIs, identifying trends and emerging risks.
• Partner with Risk Modelling to develop, implement, and monitor retail credit risk models.
• Manage risk appetite through limit calibration, monitoring, and escalation of material exposures.
• Review and challenge first-line policies, procedures, and controls to align with the risk framework.
• Assess credit risk for new products and initiatives, identifying potential risks before launch.
• Monitor expected credit losses and assess their impact on portfolio performance and profitability.
• Oversee collections performance and ensure processes remain effective within the risk framework.
• Engage with senior stakeholders, risk committees, and regional regulators on material credit risks.
• Identify emerging risks requiring immediate action and drive risk mitigation actions.
