Job summary

CCI Group is seeking an Interpreting Operations Coordinator to support our interpreting department remotely as an independent contractor. You will coordinate assignments, recruit interpreters, and manage communications and documentation across clients and resources.

The role requires scheduling expertise, strong organizational skills, and the ability to support during US Eastern hours from abroad. This position is remote and international, with care for accuracy and client experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of interpreting coordination or language services project management.
• Experience scheduling interpreters in a professional language services environment.
• Hands-on experience with ScheduleInterpreter® or a comparable platform.
• Experience recruiting and maintaining relationships with freelance interpreters.
• Experience reviewing interpreter invoices and service documentation.
• Strong understanding of interpreting operations lifecycle.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and last-minute changes.
• Ability to provide remote support during 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time.
• Reliable high-speed internet and remote work setup.
• Must be located outside the United States as an independent contractor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating interpreting assignments across multiple clients and projects.
• Identifying and assigning qualified interpreters based on language, location, availability, credentials, experience, modality, and client-specific requirements.
• Recruiting and sourcing new interpreters, particularly for hard-to-fill languages and areas.
• Communicating with interpreters regarding availability, assignment details, confirmations, changes, and documentation.
• Maintaining accurate assignments, interpreter profiles, notes, and scheduling information.
• Monitoring upcoming assignments and identifying coverage issues.
• Supporting senior team members with high-volume, complex requests.
• Assisting with interpreter onboarding and documentation collection.
• Reviewing interpreter invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Following up on missing invoices or timesheets and required documentation.
• Maintaining project/assignment records for invoicing and reporting.
