Inter-American Development Bank is seeking a Software Tester and QA Analyst consultant to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of software solutions across the development lifecycle. You will plan and execute tests, identify defects, and support their resolution while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to implement test automation, documentation, and best practices.

This international consultant role is based at our Headquarters in Washington, D.C., with visa and relocation

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of software testing and QA experience.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (smoke, sanity, regression, E2E) and tools.
• Experience with test automation and tools such as Playwright, Selenium, JMeter, QTest, Zephyr; SQL skills.
• Ability to write/test scripts using TypeScript, .NET or Python; familiarity with Agile.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement test plans and test cases including smoke, sanity, regression, and E2E testing.
• Identify and document defects and track their resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Participate in design and code reviews to enforce best practices.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to meet quality requirements.
• Continuously monitor and improve the software testing process.
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts.
• Write and maintain technical documentation related to software testing.
