Job summary

Worley is seeking a Group People Director for Major Projects and Programs to shape the people and organisation agenda, translating portfolio priorities into integrated workforce strategies that strengthen delivery capability and leadership.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will advise senior leaders on talent, culture, and change, while driving global mobilisation and workforce readiness across the Americas and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• Significant People leadership experience in large project-based, consulting, engineering, construction, infrastructure, energy or resources organisations.
• Experience as a principal People partner to senior executives responsible for major project delivery, project portfolios or global delivery organisations.
• Deep expertise in strategic workforce planning, global mobilisation and deployment, organisation design, succession, executive talent management, leadership development, culture and large-scale change.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including project delivery models, resource planning, labour markets, workforce cost and workforce risk management.
• Proven ability to anticipate and address scarce-skill and critical-capability requirements in complex, matrixed and globally distributed environments.
• Executive advisory and influencing capability, with the confidence to frame complex issues, challenge assumptions constructively and build alignment.
• Global and cross-cultural leadership experience, with the ability to lead, coach and develop senior People professionals.

Responsibilities

• Translate portfolio, project and customer priorities into integrated People plans with clear outcomes.
• Lead strategic workforce planning across the MPP portfolio, anticipating capacity constraints, scarce-skill requirements and critical capability gaps.
• Develop strategies to secure, mobilise, deploy, redeploy and retain project talent and specialist capability globally.
• Shape leadership and talent strategies, including executive and senior leadership succession, talent reviews and mobility actions.
• Coach senior leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness, team performance and decision quality.
• Lead organisation design, operating-model changes and transformation initiatives across projects.
• Oversee complex workforce and employee-relations matters with governance and risk management.
• Mobilise regional and global People teams around MPP priorities and oversee governance of People processes.
• Represent MPP within the People Leadership Team and contribute to enterprise People strategy.
