Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll, HR or finance operations experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a management/people leader role.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing concepts and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency with payroll systems (SAP/Workday preferred; ADP and others advantageous).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and MS Office familiarity.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage confidential data and ensure data privacy.
• Experience managing US and Canada payroll operations for salaried and hourly staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing for designated countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee daily payroll operations, audits, and data reconciliations.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to maintain SLAs and performance metrics.
• Ensure SOX compliance and robust internal controls.
• Mentor and develop payroll analysts and staff.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT and other partners on payroll related projects.
• Support UAT and system upgrades and manage vendor relationships.
