FHI 360 is seeking a finance professional to perform accounting functions, maintain the general ledger, and consolidate country office financials. The role emphasizes GAAP interpretations, journal entries, cash management, and monthly closes within a globally oriented NGO environment.

You'll work with audits, financial analyses, and system improvements while supporting field programs and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English.
• Prior NGO experience and team leadership preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Apply GAAP principles to various accounting and budgeting tasks.
• Prepare journal entries, cash management, and field wire payments.
• Consolidate monthly country office financials.
• Support audits and system upgrades; implement process changes.
• Reconcile sub-ledgers with general ledger and interdepartmental cash.
• Produce financial reports and assist training on financial systems.
