Job summary

WSP is seeking a talented Network Operations Specialist to join the IT Operations team in the AMER Hub. You will manage and maintain network operations, focusing on WAN, LAN, security, and remote access VPN.

The role requires 4–6 years in network operations, ITIL experience, and the ability to work across multi-vendor environments. Strong English and Spanish are required, with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant network operations experience.
• Experience in large/global enterprise IT with multiple sites.
• ITIL-aligned Service Management experience.
• Practical experience with WAN, LAN, security, SSE, ADC/load balancing, cloud networking, and remote access VPN.
• Advantageous: SD-WAN (Aruba/Silver Peak), Azure, Zscaler, Teams, and multi-vendor LAN/WLAN.

Responsibilities

• Managing, monitoring, and maintaining day-to-day network activities to meet SLAs.
• Performing routine health maintenance and upgrades.
• Managing upgrades & performance related activities.
• Identifying and correcting faults with services and infrastructure.
• Planning and executing IMACDs and business continuity tests.
• Engaging in problem management and change approvals.
• Supporting audits and compliance activities.
• On-call support and periodic rotation where required.
