Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Business Systems Specialist based in Bogotá to support the Vaisala Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) across a global network of sites. You will liaison with stakeholders, IT and vendors to ensure compliant performance and successful adoption of environmental monitoring solutions.

The role requires collaboration, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to translate business needs into robust system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years supporting enterprise applications or EMS.
• Experience in application administration and user access.
• Translate business needs into tech solutions.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a global environment.
• Proficient English language.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for EMS across Abbott sites.
• Provide day-to-day application support and incident resolution.
• Manage user access provisioning and RBAC.
• Configure EMS settings, dashboards, reports, monitoring.
• Perform system maintenance and health monitoring.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for improvements.
