MSD seeks a Clinical Research Director to lead Clinical Operations in a country/cluster, ensuring execution of all clinical trials in scope for GCTO country operations. The role requires adherence to GCP, regulatory requirements, and CAPA management, with accountability for study quality and inspection readiness.

The CRD will manage multi-therapy programs, build strong internal and external relationships, and drive strategic development of the country/cluster to deliver trials per pipeline

Formación

• Significant management experience in a Clinical Trials setting with the ability to service and collaborate with different stakeholders within GCTO in a matrix organization.
• Management expertise should cover management of budget, travel, resources, headcount, processes and controls, productivity, quality, and project delivery.
• A complete understanding of ICH GCP and Global/Regional/Local regulatory requirements is required.
• Strong communication skills requiring proficiency in written and spoken English and preferably the local language.
• Strategic thinking.

Responsabilidades

• Leads country/cluster clinical trial execution across all studies and phases in scope of GCTO.
• Develops and executes the GCTO strategy for the country/cluster, including industry associations.
• Builds and leads a high-performing team and manages resources, budgets, and vendor relationships.
• Ensures quality, compliance, audits, CAPAs, and regulatory readiness.
• Collaborates with FSPs, CROs, and regional/global colleagues to deliver outsourced and in-house trials.
