Applaudo is seeking a platform-focused DevOps engineer to own building and maintaining Google Cloud infrastructure for a large-scale operational platform. You will stand up Kubernetes workloads (GKE clusters and Helm deployments), implement CI/CD pipelines on Cloud Build, and configure cloud-native monitoring and logging with Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.

The role runs as a 5-month contractor with at least 4 hours daily overlap with U.S.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience with Terraform on Google Cloud, including building from baseline and creating new modules.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience with GKE and Helm packaging/deployments.
• Experience with Cloud Run for containerized services.
• Experience deploying Cloud Composer (Airflow) for orchestration.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and environment promotion with Cloud Build.
• Experience configuring Google Cloud-native monitoring, alerting, and logging.
• Strong Git practices: branching, PRs, and commit hygiene.
• Excellent English communication with US-based teams.
• Ability to work within secured Dev/QA boundaries and structured delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Build and configure Kubernetes workloads (GKE clusters and Helm deployments) using Terraform baselines and custom modules.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and environment promotion workflows on Cloud Build.
• Deploy and maintain Cloud Composer environments for orchestration needs.
• Support Cloud Run deployments as part of the infrastructure footprint.
• Configure and maintain Google Cloud-native monitoring, alerting, and logging.
• Produce, maintain, and support deployment packages through acceptance testing.
• Maintain Git discipline across infra and deployments.
• Collaborate with platform and engineering teams to align with architecture standards.
• Document processes, participate in code reviews, and support ticket-based delivery.
